Biogen and Apple Are Among the Biggest Calls of the Day for Analysts

On Thursday, certain analysts had made some of the biggest calls on Wall Street. The calls included stocks of companies like Apple, Biogen, Qorvo, Micron, ConocoPhillips and many more. The analysts like William Blair, Needham, Citi, Goldman Sachs, and a few others have given their opinions regarding the trends, which the stocks of these companies are likely to follow. Their predictions have managed to provide Wall Street with valuable insight regarding what the investors can expect as far as movements of the stocks are concerned.

Analyst William Blair has managed to downgrade Biogen from outperform to market perform. He has done so due to the fact that Aducanumab trials were getting discontinued because of an interim futility analysis. Next up was Needham, who has upgraded the stocks of Apple from buy to strong buy. Citi has raised the target price on Apple from $170 to $220. This shows that Citi is quite positive on Apple and they also hope that the company would increase its dividend along with their authorization for a buyback. Following this, is Goldman Sachs. They have upgraded their stance on Qorvo from neutral to buy. This has happened because of their stabilization in the smartphone segment, growth in 5G infrastructure business along with margin expansion at quite a compelling valuation.

Now, apart from all the stocks and the views of analysts mentioned above there have been several calls on other stocks as well. For instance, Citi has managed to downgrade Micron from neutral to sell. On the other hand, Piper Jaffrey has upgraded ConocoPhillips from neutral to overweight. Goldman Sachs has even added Arista Networks to the list of conviction buy. Last but not least, Credit Suisse has initiated Fox Corporation as outperform.
